Frankincense

Frankincense has been used throughout history for medicine and preventing infection. It helps to promote sleep, has been shown to improve both short and long term memory, is anti-inflammatory, and has anti-tumoral activity at the cellular level. It is also antibacterial and antiviral, and can be applied directly to the skin to help heal cuts and wounds.

To use: apply directly to skin (soles of feet and to the chest area are good application points), make a dilution with a carrier oil for skin care, or diffuse for calming effects.
