Palo Santo Smudge Stick

The act of burning certain herbs for meditations, energy modification and so much more has been in practice for centuries. It is easy to do and can be done as often as you would like. 

Palo Santo is believed to have many properties. Often used in rituals to welcome creativity, love and good fortune in your space. It's also believed to promote feelings of positivity, while reducing anxiety and stress with it rich fragrance notes.

Why smudge: This ritual is most commonly performed with a person believes in and has a desire to shift the energy around them. 



Instructions: Setting your good intentions, gather your smudge stick and fireproof container. Next light the end of one palo santo stick. Let it burn for thirty seconds to a minute before rubbing it on on the fireproof container. You can either allow it to smolder in your fireproof container or waft the smoke around the space you would like to affect, while silently or verbally restating your good intentions for the space. Remember that a little smoke goes a long way, but if you run out of smoke, simply re-light and repeat the steps.
