White Sage Smudge Stick

The act of burning certain herbs for meditations, energy modification and so much more has been in practice for centuries. It is easy to do and can be done as often as you would like. 

White Sage is believed to have many properties. It's often used in energy purification, believing to wash off the outer world, cleansing a path to enter into a sacred state due to its rich strong fragrance notes. These fragrance notes also allow it to be a wonderful aid in a variety of meditations.

Why smudge: This ritual is most commonly performed with a person believes in and has a desire to shift the energy around them. 



Instructions: Setting your good intentions, gather your smudge stick and fireproof container. Next light the end of one palo santo stick. Let it burn for thirty seconds to a minute before rubbing it on on the fireproof container. You can either allow it to smolder in your fireproof container or waft the smoke around the space you would like to affect, while silently or verbally restating your good intentions for the space. Remember that a little smoke goes a long way, but if you run out of smoke, simply re-light and repeat the steps.
